CD and DVD Copy Protection
We offer the following methods of CD and DVD protection against unauthorized copying:
Cactus Data Shield (CDS) by Midbar Tech (a part of Macrovision). The CDS-100 technology hides audio files from the PC and, thus, inhibits CD duplication.
The protection does not affect the normal playback of the disks or sound quality on standard audio players. On the other hand, CDS-200 provides full playability of music CD on both standard audio players and PCs. And yet another improved CD-Audio and CD-ROM copy protection system of the CDS family, CDS-300, will be introduced soon.

Macrovision's SafeDisc technology inhibits CD-ROM copying to hard drives, CD-Rs or any other attempt to copy the protected disk.
